Worktrees and agents
Several branches checked out side by side, for you and for Claude Code and Codex, and their work reviewed and merged back.
- Worktrees Several branches of one repository checked out side by side, each in a folder and a window of its own.
- Creating a worktree A branch name and Return: a new folder beside the repository, its own window, and optionally an agent already started in it.
- Reviewing a worktree's changes A worktree's work against its base in the Diff Review, like a pull request that has not left the Mac.
- Sending feedback to an agent Notes on the lines or files you want changed, collected beside the review and handed to the agent's session after you have seen exactly what goes where.
- Merging a worktree back Integrate a worktree's work into its base, in the window that has the base checked out, and take the worktree away afterwards.
- Finishing and removing worktrees Remove the worktrees whose work is merged in one reviewed step, and any other with a backup of what it held.
- Claude Code and Codex Which worktree an agent is working in, what it is doing, and how to get to its session from the sidebar.
